GalvestonVoter.com conducts online surveys of the current issues facing Galveston. Only registered voters living on the island are eligible to participate
and the survey results cannot be changed by anyone!*
You are asked for personal identifying information (Name, Address,
Zip Code, Year of Birth) so that we can make sure the process is fair and accurate; but your details
and responses are available to no one; the final reports will not provide any personal details at all – only responses.
No one will ever know if you participated and none of your personal information will ever, ever be shared with anyone under
any circumstances at any time. Only registered island voters are eligible and all participants will be screened against voter
rolls to assure the integrity of the survey results. The survey tool allows participants to re-register and post new answers
at any time prior to the end of the survey period - your last answers will be the only ones used in the final results. The
results will be kept by Vanguard Corporation in perpetuity and the raw data (without personal information) will be available
to those who wish to verify the results. The survey will be shared with the appropriate community leaders.
*Vanguard protects user information by using SSL encryption during the transmission of secure information
and by encrypting data storage files. The content
of your questionnaires and the data you collect in conducting your surveys will be treated as your proprietary information.
Vanguard will not use this information for any purpose other than determining your account charges by counting the number
of respondents. Vanguard will protect your information in a manner consistent with the way it protects its own proprietary
information.
